Town of Springville

Adams County, State of Wisconsin

Chairman Theisen called the meeting of the Town Board to order at 6:00 pm. All members were present.

Open Meeting Compliance. The meeting agenda was posted on the Town of Springville’s announcement board and the Town of Springville website.

Approve Agenda. Motion made by Poehler to approve agenda. Second by VanBeek. All were in favor. M/C, by voice vote.

Financial Report. The financial report of income/expense budgetary was provided and reviewed by the Town Board for the date ending 11.30.2024. Ending balances: General Account $85,761.20; Road Account $61,520.75; and Contingency Account $1338,510.06.

Public Comment: Inquiry about ATV/UTV open roads, Board is hopeful to get something together after the Holidays.

Unfinished Business:

New Business:  

1. Discussion of Fire District Ordinance; tabled for next month.
2. CD was renewed. Needed two signatures. Mary Lou Poehler, Treasurer and Sandy Kraemer, Clerk are now the signers on the CD with Randy Theisen being removed.

Town Department Reports:

Town Road Update: County Highway Department isn’t working the 24th, 25th, and will have a skeleton crew on the 26th.

Fire District Update: Tabled motion to sell Ladder Truck

Ambulance Update: No meeting

Planning and Zoning Update: Nothing out of the ordinary.

County Board Update: Tourist Rooming House Ordinance was passed. Nancy Thome was hired as the new Attorney. County Administrator/Manager positions name was changed to County Administrator. Bought 10 New Equinox & 2 New trucks as fleet vehicles

Disbursements.The motion was made by Poehler, with a second by VanBeek to approve disbursements 1- 22 for December, 2024. All were in favor. M/C, by voice vote.

Set the next meeting date. The next monthly meeting will be Monday, January 27th, 2025, at 6:00 pm.
